Learn to Dive in Kilkee — SSI Courses in County Clare

Discover Scuba, or Try a Dive, is the most popular thing we run and it is the right starting point for almost everyone. It takes about half a day, needs no experience whatsoever, and there is no exam and no qualification at the end. An instructor is beside you the entire time. Most people are breathing off a regulator within about twenty minutes of arriving.

We run it from the slipway or from Newfee, both shallow and sheltered, chosen because they are forgiving. You will not be dropped off a boat into deep water on your first go. All equipment is provided. There is a short medical questionnaire — if you tick anything on it, ring us before you travel, because some answers need a doctor's sign-off.
