What is an Open Water Diver?

The Open Water course combines theory and practical work in a comprehensive course to give you the skills to dive anywhere in the world. 

Theory

Learn the basics 

The theory component of the course can be learned in the comfort of your own home with elearning. Here you will learn the basic information that you will need for becoming an Open Water Diver. 

Open Water

Perfect your skills 

Continue to build on what you have already learned while exploring local dive sites. During the 4 open water dives you will perfect the skills that you have been working on while surrounded by marine life. 

Confined Water

Start putting the theory into practice

Over the 6 confined water dives you will be shown basic skills of scuba diving.

Minimum Age

The minimum age required to partake in an open water course is 12.

Course Duration

4 full days starting at 10am finishing around 4pm 

What to bring

  • Swimming costume 

  • Towel 

  • Warm clothes for after

  • Snacks and water 

Medical
