What You Learn

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases: 

  • 5 knowledge sections (eLearning - online theory)

  • 5 Confined water dives.

  • 4 Open water dives.

Prerequisites

To enroll in the PADI Open Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must be:

  • 10 years or older. (10 to 14 Junior Open Water Diver)

  • You need to be able to swim and be happy in the water to safely enjoy learning to dive.  

 

Equipment Requirements

  • Swimming costume.

  • Towel.

  • Positive attitude.

  • Keenness to learn.

 

Course Timeframe

The course is run with the student time frame in mind.  It can be done intensively over a little as three days, or over six or seven weeks depending on how you want to approach the course, contact us for details.
